Statement of Intent:
A Statement of Intent is a commitment to continual improvement in Health & Safety by demonstrating Leadership, Effective management & Provision of resources.
It communicates the Importance of Health & Safety to all Stake holders. eg.., Employees, Investors,Customers..etc,..
Organization:
The organizations aspect of Health and Safety management is to do with the distribution of responsibilities throughout the organization, starting at the very top management and working down through all levels and divisions to the employee on the shop floor.
Arrangements:
These are the systems,procedures & other measures necessary to put the Policy into effects. They should explain clearly how Health & Safety will be achieved in the Organisation through the implementation, maintenance, monitoring, & review of preventative & protective measures.
As a minimum the arrangements section should have procedures to :
- Plan
- Organize
- Control
- Monitor
- Review
